Feel happy in your workplace

Work well-being and organizational happiness are two closely related concepts and part of each of them is what we want to address in today's topic, and of course share it with all of you.

A new year begins, and for some strange reason, the moment the previous calendar closes and the new one opens generates that "need" to set new goals., start new projects, leave behind what was not doing us well and fix our gaze on everything new that we want to achieve in 2022.

We are not going to talk about what happiness is conceptually because for each person it would be different and decide how to feel happy; And being happy does not mean that everything will be rosy all the time and that every day will be happy and "the best". While for some to grow in their professional career, moving up in your company or completing a project are things that give you happiness; it makes others happy to enjoy the family, feel a balance in your life, or just being able to go to bed to watch Netflix with your child every night before going to sleep.

Returning to the topic of organizational happiness, it is important to highlight that, as in many things in life, there are two important parts. One of them is that the company you work for is willing to generate the context of containment and have spaces for development and recreation, and the other part fully depends on each one of us and our attitude and desire to know how to take advantage of and enjoy what they offer us. Therefore, we can say that there is a 50% contribution from each side to achieve feeling happy in the workplace. It never depends on only one part.
